  Speed limits in Europe
Different countries – different rules
Speed limits for trucks vary greatly between the different countries in Europe. We keep you up-to-date.
Open frontiers are misleading – countries in Europe vary vastly, and so do their road traffic rules. Every driver should be aware of all the current rules of the countries in which he is driving. Ignorance is no excuse and will not protect you from punishment, anywhere. For example, did you know that trucks’ weight categories and speed limits in France differ from those in Germany? Or that in Poland, the speed limit is 20km/h in residential areas?
